"Unlock the Magic!" A vintage cast member invitation celebrating the opening of New Fantasyland. Attached to the formal invitation is a metal key engraved with "New Fantasyland 1983 Opening," featuring a relief carving of Sleeping Beauty Castle as the handle. Fantasyland reopened in 1983 from a large overhaul and expansion of the popular land. Imagineers moved some attractions to make more room for guests and updated the ride facades to a more realistic yet still fairy tale inspired European village. The invitation measures 9.5"x7.25" and the key measures 2.25"x6.25". The premiere invitation is in very good condition with the display cardboard slightly warped, the inserts slightly discolored, and the envelope showing rips and handling related scuffs.
