A production cel from the Marvel Studios animated series "X-Men" (1992-1997), Featuring a fantastic image of Rogue holding storm in the air as they engage in a fight with Sauron, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The cel is an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the season three episode "Savage Land, Strange Heart, Part II," which aired on September 17, 1994. Measuring 9"x10.5" overall, with the character image measuring 8"x7.75", the cel is in very good condition with minor surface wear including light scratches, slight line fade, and paper backing stuck to the reverse of the paint from studio use and storage. The cel has been paired with a reproduction color copy background for presentation purposes.
